Barrel XP
High style meets unparalleled function in the new Xtreme Performance™ barrel saddles by Circle Y. The XP™ barrel saddles not only look great, they deliver more quality and performance than other saddles on the market today.
Two different layers of tree technology, Low-Density and High-Density, are built into the XP™ B-barrel racer trees. To allow for the cat-like action your horse exhibits in a winning run, the XP™B Low-Density bar layer conforms to a horse’s back, while allowing for freedom of movement. This layer also makes the saddle fit a wider range of horses. The High-Density layer provides support of the rider, stability of the saddle and even weight distribution so your horse is more comfortable. Covering this new tree technology is DURAhide™, Circle Y’s improvement to traditional rawhide coverings. DURAhide™ is more consistent than rawhide, and it adds strength to the tree while keeping out moisture and the elements, adding to the life of your saddle.

Ropers XP
The exciting new Xtreme Performance™ Ropers reflect the superior engineering and craftsmanship available only from Circle Y.
Because roping puts demand on the strength of a saddle, XP™ roper trees are Kevlar® reinforced at stress points. Kevlar® is well known for its superior strength in military and law enforcement applications and in other protective clothing. A DURAhide™ coating adds strength and weather resistance, increasing the life of the tree. This coating is not attractive to insects or rodents, and will decrease the opportunity for warping of the tree because of moisture from weather or your horse.
To increase the comfort for your roping partner- your horse, Circle Y incorporates an XPG™ gel bar pad in the Xtreme Performance™ skirts. The gel pad, positioned between the bar and the skirt liner, integrates “2 nd Generation” shock absorbing gel. This gel does not break down, is not susceptible to heat or cold, and does not add significant weight to the saddle. The XPG™ bar pad, configured in the shape of the tree bars, provides improved shock absorption and comfort for the horse, as it compensates for variance in fit.
Most noticeably in the new XP™ ropers is the change in the Xtreme Performance™ skirt lining- or let’s say- the lack of it. Circle Y has introduced the Slip-Not™ Skirt, which is a close contact leather lining. The elimination of a wool lining further provides an improved fit for your horse and no slipping. It is easier to keep clean than wool, which can pack down and become uneven in spots from wear.
You will spend hours in the saddle, in dusty pens and on hot days. To provide you more comfort, Circle Y has incorporated a special seat system into the Xtreme Performance™ saddles. The XP™MVS™- MicroVent™ Seat System helps keep you cooler. The perforated top grain MicroVent™ leather seat breathes for superior rider comfort while remaining water repellant. Under this special leather, the Impact Foam™ seat padding absorbs shock to eliminate transference of impact between horse and rider. The viscoelastic material conforms to the rider for ultimate support and comfort.
For a better leg position and less rider fatigue, Circle Y has added the EBS™-ErgoBalance Stirrup™- to the Xtreme Performance™ roping saddle. The EBS™ place the rider’s feet and legs in a more natural position, promoting balanced riding. The rider’s ball of the foot is able to be in total contact with the tread of the stirrup, instead of just supporting the rider’s weight along the edge.
As an added feature, the Xtreme Performance™ saddles incorporate the FAST stirrup leather buckles. These patented buckles are easy to use, secure, and are constructed of 100% stainless steel, making them virtually indestructible. The FAST buckles have no parts to loose, wear or freeze up, making them a superior fastener. Their unique offset design allows the stirrup leather to hang straight and distortion free, and makes stirrup leather adjustment quick and easy.
The Circle Y XP™ Ropers are customizable. Roughout seat jockeys, special iron and silver conchos, unique tooling patterns, and two color finishes are some of the options you may choose.
